A new Blog!

Howdy all!

This is partly a test post, and partly an introductory post. So let's all compromise...

Welcome to our Testaductory post on our "Life in Cheongju" blog!

We decided to set this up to make it easier for us to update people, and easier for people to be updated. This way, your e-mail inbox isn't being cluttered with mass e-mails and/or pictures from us, and you'll still be able to catch up on what we're doing on the far side of the world, if you so desire.

So, we haven't left yet, but we will be (apparently) on Tuesday, August 30th. After we get to Korea, we'll be staying in a hotel for the first few days, and then from there into our new apartment, about which we know absolutely nothing at this point, but will update as we get more info.

Once we're into our new apartment, I have no idea how long it will take for us to get set up with internet access, so it may be a few weeks before you actually see interesting/relevant updates on this blog (IE, ones that actually were posted from Korea). Please be patient, we'll have it up and running ASAP.

A good hint to you lot would be to notice whether or not we're occasionally on MSN, which tends to imply that we have access to the webernet.

One ground rule:

To any and all those who have any horrible secrets about us, or the burning desire to use any level of profanity/obscenity (you know who you are), please refrain from doing so in the comments, since this blog could be read by anyone we know, including relatives. Thanks! More to come!

Just because you're an english major doesn't mean you can make up words Ryan. I hope Becca smacked you upside the head with the borange for that.

hmmmmm, yes....testaductory....and you're going to teach English to unsuspecting Korean children?

Also....please note that the paltry excuse of 'not yet having internet access' does not hold water when it comes to giving regular updates to the one (okay two...okay four) who gave you life.
